Condo Townhomes – Music to the Ears of Buyers and Sellers Alike!

In a real estate market that is softening across the board, condo towns seem to be holding their value, especially when compared to condo apartments.

Many of the condo apartments built within the last 5 – 10 years are all well under 600 sq ft, and will not work for a family looking for a liveable space,  and also have very high maintenance fees, which add an extra $500+ to your living costs. On the  other hand, detached and semi-detached homes, which have no up-front maintenance fees, are often simply out of the budget.

That’s why condo towns are the perfect go-to for many folks  looking right now.

Check out the  TRREB MarketWatch Aug 2025!  While condo apartments fell in price  by  5% over the  past year, condo towns have actually increased in price by 1%. On the other side of the home-ownership equation, a 3-br semi-detached home will set you back around $200,000 more than a comparable condo town.
